He was predeceased by: his brothers, Leonard Sowers, James "Pete" Sowers and Bernard Sowers. He is survived by: his son Richard Sowers (Kathy) of New Lexington; his sister Jennie Simmons (John) of Crooksville; and his close friend Roy Solgot (Linda). He is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, friends.
