She was predeceased by: her parents, George Allion and Martha Allion (Pfeifer). She is survived by: her husband R. Gene Deifendeifer; her children, Steve Deifendeifer (Monica), Anne St (Eric) and Kristin Elwer (Dave); her grandchildren, Anca Deifendeifer-Qin (Ricky), Natalie Curth (Zach), Corinne, Ryan, Matt and Kelly St. John; and her great grandchildren, Sophia, Evalynn and Elaine.
Sue taught elementary school at Shawnee Schools before devoting herself to raising her children and caring for her own mother, who also had Alzheimer's.
