He was predeceased by: his son Greg Yoakam; and his nephew Donald Yoakam. He is survived by: his spouse D. Jo-An Baum; his daughter-in-law Shelly Yoakam; his stepgrandchildren, Josh Williams (Jennifer), Heather (AJ) and Tasha Goldon; and his brother David Yoakam. He is also survived by 3 grand daughters.

Memorial contributions may be given to Hume United Methodist Church.
