He was predeceased by: his parents, Otis James and Donna Frances Kirchner (Harruff); his brother-in-law Whitey Metzger; and his nephew Kurt Metzger. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Kennedy; his children, Joseph James Kirchner (Kim) of Cridersville, Tonya Godfrey (John) of Cridersville, John Kirchner (Jill) of Cridersville and Angela Wallace (David) of Cridersville; his sister Yuteve Metzger of Wapak; his great-nieces, Andrea and Emily; and also Elisha Smith (Bart). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren.
