The memory of Marjorie M. Rummel of Cridersville, Ohio, who passed away on December 9, 2024 at the age of 101, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul A. Minter and Gertrude E. Minter (Schlief); her former husband C. Donald Rummel; her husband Myron D. Brown; her son Ronald Lee Rummel; her siblings, Eileen Brown (Wirt), Carl Minter (Dottie) and Richard Minter (Donna); and her brother-in-law Howard Rummel (Marjorie A.).
She is survived by: her children, Marcia L. Rummel of Cridersville, OH, Doug Rummel (Cindy) of Lima, OH and Sue Moorman (Rish) of Lima, OH.; her grandchildren, Barry Rummel (Tiffany) of Ft. Wayne, IN, Stephanie Gregory of Columbus, OH and Shane Moorman (Brianna Pawlowski) of Pittsburgh, PA; her great grandchildren, Brynlee and Lukas Rummel of Ft. Wayne, IN.; and her stepchildren, Terry Burkhead (Don) of Grinnell, IA, Kathy Brown of Waukesha, WI, Ruth Zachary (Roger) of Atascadero, CA and Kevin Brown (Julia) of Waukesha, WI. She is also survived by five step-grandchildren, four step-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Chiles-Laman Funeral Home - Eastside Chapel (828 Bellefontaine Ave, Lima, OH 45801). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Chiles-Laman Funeral and Cremation Services - Eastside Chapel (828 Bellefontaine Ave, Lima, OH 45801).
