She was predeceased by: her parents, Tom Shackelford and Bessie Shackelford (Helton); and her husband Nelson Phipps. She is survived by: her children, David Phipps of Cridersville, Sharon Brummett of Cridersville, Tim Phipps (Laura) of Antwerp and Vickie Stratton of Cridersville; her grandchildren, Danielle Bradley (Matt) of Defiance, Zach Stratton of Cridersville, Justin Phipps of Columbus, Tonya Price (Denny) of Oak Harbor, OH and Josh Collins (Tina) of Defiance; her siblings, Lucy Mae Jones of Minster, Leola Phipps of Covington, KY, Sylvia Evans of Middlesboro, KY and Leonard Shackleford of Adrian, MI; and also, Shirlen, Arnold, Charlie, Walter, Clyde, William, Dean, Paul, Jessie James, Rachel Shackleford and Mary Rickard. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be given to Lima Missionary Baptist Church or Pleasant View Missionary Baptist Church, Defiance.
