He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence W. Stewart and Emma Stewart; his wife Marguerite Hile (Baker); his son Gregory L. Stewart; and his siblings, Carol Bair, Alice Spyker, Lela Miller-Alliey and Frank Stewart.
He is survived by: his daughters, Dianne J. Hile (James) of Lima and Jo Derryberry (Glenn) of Parrish, FL; his grandchildren, Lisa Moening (Scott), James R. Hile (Jay), Tyler Derryberry (Christen Dute), Corey Derryberry (Megan) and Chelsea Stewart; his great grandchildren, Joseph Moening, Samuel Moening, Gabriel Hile, Bella Hile and Mina Derryberry; his close friend Alice Beals; his sister Connie Sibert; and also Nancy Stewart of Holly Springs, GA.
