We are sad to announce that on June 25, 2023, at the age of 76, Gary Dean Shappell (Cridersville, Ohio), born in Lima, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Adrian E. Shappell and Kathryn Lenore Shappell (Guthrie); his wife Diana Shinaberry; his son Michael Dean Shappell; and his brother Terry Shappell.
He is survived by: his sister Anita Kay Shappell of Cridersville; his stepdaughter Shelly Elling (Matt) of Spencerville; his stepgrandchildren, Cade and Leah Elling; his niece Mindy Morelli (David) of Hilliard, OH; his nephew Michael E. Shappell (Amy) of Lisbon, Portugal; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, David Curtis (Sirima) of Texas, Melissa Wojciechowski (Dennis) of Texas and Daniel'Joey'Young of Texas.
In Lieu of flowers memorials may be given to Allen County ASPCA or Deb's Dogs.
