She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Emmit and Alfa Marie Byers McMillen; her husband Philip E. Gross; her son William Gross (Linda); her grandsons, Elias David Gross and John Thomas Earl; her daughter-in-law Judy Gross; and her brothers, Richard McMillen and Charles McMillen.

She is survived by: her sons, Edward Lee Gross (Joy) of Wapakoneta and Robert Gross of Wapakoneta; and her grandchildren, Brad Gross, Larry Gross (Shelly), Mindy Ritchie (Rod), Darrel Gross, James Gross (Amanda), April Gross, Jodie Hopkins (Craig), Stacy Earl and Edward Gross, Jr..
