He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald E. Walters and Wilma R. Kohorst Walters. He is survived by: his wife Elsie M. Gay; and his children, Scott Walters (Janelle) of Lima, Cathy Butterfield (Don) of Belton, Missouri, Cherie Sheets (Monte) of Leo, Indiana and Sally Maas (Bob) of St. Mary's, Ohio. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren – and 8 great grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to Grace Fellowship Church.
