He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Tyrrell and Goldie Tyrrell (Knaggs); his son Chester C. Tyrrell Jr; and his brothers, James, Thomas and William.
He is survived by: his wife Elaine Raskey; and his children, Thomas Tyrrell (Sarah) of San Angelo, TX, Al Tyrrell (Bethany) of Elida and Lisa Daniels (Mike Crouse) of Elida. He is also survived by three grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
