She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Beery and Lola Beery (Thompson). She is survived by: her sons, Harry Randall Butterfield (Carol) of Hopkinsville, KY and Robert Scott Butterfield (Pat) of Cridersville; her grandchildren, Bruce Maley (Stacey) of Clarksville, TN and Rebecca Schardein (Michael) of Prospect, KY; her great grandchildren, Mackenzie, Tayler, Katelynn, Malerie and Andrew; and her sister Joan Gossard of Wapakoneta.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the Auglaize County Humane Society.
