He was predeceased by: his father Clarence R. Swartz; his brother Clarence F. Swartz, Jr. (Patricia); and his parents-in-law, Dwight, Gaithel Guthrie, Dick Arthur and Thomas Murphy.
He is survived by: his daughters, Tammy Davidson (Matt) of Beavercreek and Susan R. Bay (Terry) of Lima; his granddaughters, Hilary Green (Brian) of Tulsa, OK, Mallory Wolff (Dan) of Houston, TX and Natalie Ruther (Adam) of Milford, Ohio; his great grandchildren, Abraham Green, Benjamin Green, Hayes Wolff and Mackenzie Wolff; his brother John Swartz (Jo) of Lexington, KY; and his parents-in-law, Rollie Guthrie (Alice) of Green Valley, AZ, Vaude Hubbell (Ralph) of Lima, Charlie Guthrie (Marilyn) of DeGraff and Sally Murphy of Elida.
Memorial contributions may be given to Cridersville United Methodist Church The family ask that mask be worn at the church and the mausoleum.
