She was predeceased by: her parents, James Edgar and Mary D. Roebuck Carpenter; and her siblings, Gloria Buchanan, Joe Carpenter and James Carpenter.
She is survived by: her children, Pete Herbst (Shelly) of Roy and Chelle Zuppardo (Pete) of Wapakoneta; her granddaughters, Emily and Maddie Herbst; her brother Dodd Carpenter (Gwen) of Arkansas; and her parents-in-law, Jim Herbst (Nancy) of Portland, TN, Gary Herbst of Lima, Bob Herbst (Tricia) of Van Wert, Deb Carnes (Clay) of Spencerville and Sharon McCaslin of Lima. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be given to Auglaize County Humane Society or to the American Cancer Society.
