She was predeceased by: her parents, Matthew Kuntz and Marie Kuntz (Crawford); her husband Robert P. Platt; her brother Joseph Kuntz; and her granddaughter Victoria Morgan.
She is survived by: her children, Karl P., Michael J. of South Carolina, John M. (Doreen) of Tennessee, Karen A. Morgan (Michael) of Tennessee and Julia M. Smith (David) of Ohio.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Bayliff & Son Funeral Home (311 W Main St, Cridersville, OH 45806). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church (2200 W Elm St, Lima, OH 45805). She was also a regular volunteer St. Charles school cafeteria prior to Covid and volunteered for the annual AAUW book fair.
Contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, Lima, Ohio, or charity of the donor's choice.
