He was predeceased by: his father Harvey Shane. He is survived by: his mother Carol Shane (Boss) of Creston; his sons, Dwight Lee Shane (Billie) of Creston and Stephen Shane (Shelly) of Medina; his grandsons, Tyler and Evan; and his sisters, Cheryl Koch (Bruce) of West Salem and Laurie Boley (David) of Creston. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
