He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Winkler and Marie Winkler (Maibach); his wife Dollie; and his siblings, Daryl "Dewey" Winkler and Ann Weahry.
He is survived by: his children, Audrey (Bob Kaftan) of Seattle, WA and Rodney (Carol Winkler) of Wadsworth; his grandchildren, Ashley (Tucker Flood), Alexa (Kyle Endof-Horn), Nathan (Sarah Winkler), Nicholas Winkler and Abigail Winkler; his stepdaughters, Cynthia Kason and Sherrie Carano; his sister Susie (Dave McDougal) of Creston; his niece Tina (Jon Allen); his close friend Sandy Burge; and his friends, Mary Gunn and Bill Boyd. He is also survived by 4 step-grandchildren.
Due to the covid-19 pandemic, a private family celebration of Jim's life will be held.
