He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Ewers and Thelma Ewers (Stacy); his former wife Phyllis Reischman; and his brother Roger Ewers. He is survived by: his wife Eva Hoisington Klepper; his children, Michael Ewers (Mary) of Magnolia, TX and Deloris Ewers (Jeff Miller) of Wooster; his stepsons, Gary Klepper (Wendy) of Wooster and Chris Klepper (Melanie) of Creston; his grandchildren, Matthew (Bandon Ewers), Terena Watts, Tasha Douglas, Dana (Sara Baught) and Hayden (Lyric Klepper); and his sisters, Ellen Ebert (Ray) of New Martinsville, WV and Evelyn Potts (Ted) of Sardis. He is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren.
