He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Higgins and Virginia Higgins (Stewart); and his siblings, Ralph, Charlie Higgins, Cheryl Shedd and Pamela Brown.
He is survived by: his close friend Gerri Williams; his daughters, Jessica Higgins (Josh) of Rittman and Michele Higgins (John) of Creston; his granddaughter Madelynn Winkler; his siblings, Sandy Marquess (Chuck) of Akron, Gary Higgins (Peggy) of Apple Creek, Randy Higgins (Debbie) of Wooster, Bonnie Whitmyer of Holmesville and Davy Higgins (Char) of Orrville; his sister-in-law Debra Higgins of Auburn, IN; and also Chris Figley. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
