He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Bertschy and Lula Bertschy (Ingold); his son Todd; and his sister Shirley Hoisington. He is survived by: his nephew Steve Hoisington; his daughter Tina Allen (Jon) of Creston; his granddaughter Hannah Allen; his siblings, Arlene Fetzer of Wooster, Inez Bowman (Gary) of Creston, Larry Bertschy of Creston and Lucy Herman (Larry) of Placida, FL; and his brother-in-law Harley Hoisington of Creston.
