He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Leroy Mellott and Eleanor Mellott (Miller); his wife Patricia Ann Eshler; his children, Tammy Mellott of Creston and Ron; his daughter-in-law Rachelle Mellott of Creston; his grandchildren, Denise (Russ Tratchel), Matt Mellott and John Schmel; his great grandchildren, Tyler, Derek, Reed, Cole, Cassie, Haily, Lexi and Paitton; his great great grandchildren, Kaylem and Mirrsen; his grandson Garrett Smith; and his sister Ada Zappone of St. Cloud, FL.
