It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Jean Bland of Crestline, Ohio, born in Athens, Ohio, who passed away on February 22, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifton Nixon and Nell Nixon (Fiddler); her daughter Cathy McMananma; and her brothers, Harry, Jack, Donald, Tom, Fred and Ken Nixon.
She is survived by: her children, Gary Bland (Cindy) of Crestline, Connie Burdge (Roger) of Crestline and Bill Eckenrode; her grandchildren, Jesse Thoman (Shannon), Jamie Phillips, Rebecca Eckenrode and Kathy Coccia (Josh); her great grandchildren, Noah Thoman, Olivia Thoman, Bently Bland-Corwin, Kassie Petrick, Jace Petrick, Kylee Bland, Steven Bland and Alyssa Cottrell; and also, Ken Davey and Stevie Bell.
