He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Barnett and Cecil Barnett (Beckner); his wife Elizabeth "Shiela" Cortner; his son David Barnett; and his siblings, Edgar Barnett, Vernon Barnett, Fannie Deffendall and Fredia Pipkin.
He is survived by: his daughters, Michelle Lee, Misty Barnett of Crestline and Cheryl of Graceville, FL; his siblings, Dennis Barnett (Cova) and Janie Bennett (Kevin) of Evansville, IN; his grandchildren, Tina Vance (Jory), Michael Barnett (Brooke), Kelsey Rios (Kevin), Skyler Lee, Hannah Lee, Davie Barnett, Spencer Lee and Dara McKinney (Bobby); his great grandchildren, Raylee, Johnny and Georgie; and his close friend Greg Yocham.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Turner Syndrome Society of the U.S. in care of the funeral home.
