He was predeceased by: his brother Theodore "Teddy" Witter; and his father-in-law James Gerald "J. G.". He is survived by: his wife Karen Marie Witter (Schiefer); his children, Kevin Witter (Rebecca) of Fort Collins, CO and Kelsey Keller (Jason) of Crestline; his grandsons, Samuel "Sam" Witter, Evan, Adam and Hunter Keller; his sisters-in-law, Carolyn Schiefer, Marilyn Schiefer and Sharon Mueller (Kurt); and his nieces and nephews, Kara Haag (Eric) and Kyle Mueller. He is also survived by friends and cousins.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, in care of the funeral home.
