He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Boals and Frances Boals (Shoup); and his grandson Shawn Spriggs. He is survived by: his wife Pamela Hammerberg (Marquart); his daughters, Kristi Boals-Spriggs of Crestline and Julie Laribee (Michael) of Crestline; and his sister Jean Beck (Donald) of Crestline. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren.
