He was predeceased by: his father John; his grandson Max McCaffrey; and his brother-in-law Steve Dunker. He is survived by: his wife Judith A. Berger (Kline) of Crestline; his children, Kelly Buckner of Garner, NC, Christopher Perry (Heidi) of Galion, J. Sebastian Berger (Jessica) of Crestline and Hanni VanAusdale (Josh) of Pataskala; and his siblings, Jacquelyn Berger of Findlay, Beverly Seley (Wade) of Grand Rapids, MI, JoAnn Dunker of Holland, MI, Jerry Berger (Linda) of Lititz, PA and Janelle Berger of Springfield, NJ.. He is also survived by five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren.
