She is survived by: her children, Mark (Doris Hoffman), Karl Hoffman of Edison, Pam (Blane Finnegan) and Sue (Marc Van Horne); her grandchildren, Barb, Mike Dwyer, Litsa Hoffman, Karly, Kasey Watterson, Erin, Eric Levinson, Brittany McCarthy (Dunn), Breann Hoffman, Megan, Rick Losacker, Nick, Katie Finnegan, Harmonie, Tom Sykes, Damon and Leai Cost; her great grandchildren, Mike, Lexie, Matthew, Christopher, Ethan, Alex, Tessa, Grayson, Cami, Olivia, Leo, Gaelen, Jace, Owen, Evie, Finn, Maddie, Emma, Jack, Benjamin, Joseph, Calder and Georgia; her sisters, Sandy Guinup and Brenda (Stan Kolassa); her niece Kris Kolassa of Robesonia, PA; her nephew Kasey (Sandy Kolassa); her great-nephew Grant; and her great-niece Maggie of Santa Cruz, CA..

“My heart goes out to all of her children and rest of her family. All of us Etlers were so fortunate to have known her, grow up close to her and have her as my Moms good friend. I went to see her many times when I came back to Ohio and even when she was in Az with Sue and Karl. She truly was a fun and wondeful person and Mother. Joan will always have a place in my heart!!”
