He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Lewis and Isabelle Geneva Cole (McKean); his wife Shirley Jean Cole; and his grandson Cole Michael Platfoot. He is survived by: his daughters, Heather Shimko (Thomas) of Youngstown, OH, Holly Platfoot (Thomas) of Botkins, OH and Melissa Miller (Kenneth) of Crestline; his grandchildren, Mason Burge, Preston Shimko, Janel Platfoot, Peyton Platfoot, Caden Platfoot, Kylee Bloomfield, Hunter Bloomfield, Rylee Bloomfield and Kenlee Miller; his sister Priscilla Laughbaum (Thomas) of Crestline; and his mother-in-law Eva Mae Cattey of Shelby.
