Gary A. Cole Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gary A. Cole (Crestline, Ohio), born in Shelby, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 22, 2024 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald W. Cole and Rachael V. Cole (Keller); and his niece Christina Minehart. He is survived by: his wife Helen F. Cole (Bauer); his sisters, Janet Marie Cole and Mary Ruth; his daughters, Kathy Zaborowski (Jim) of Cable and Amy Reed (Scott) of Cincinnati; his grandchildren, Samantha Zaborowski, Jennifer Zaborowski, Cole Reed and Grant Reed; his sister Carol Minehart (Jim) of Upper Sandusky; his in-laws, Kathryn Leathem of Caledonia and Edna Rooks (John) of Clearwater, FL; and his nephew Tim Ruth. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to one of the following three organizations that meant so much to Gary: the Crawford County Park District, Crawford County Council on Aging, or The Shelby Foundation for a future scholarship fund.
