She was predeceased by: her husband Fred Houghtlen; her son Kevin Houghtlen; her parents, Fred Reer and Christine Reer (Eslinger); and her brother Doug Reer.
She is survived by: her significant other Dave Gekler; her children, Donya Lloyd (Melvin), Tresa Ohlemacher and Randy Houghtlen (Linda); her grandchildren, Nicole Lloyd (Robin), Tania Stentz (Ben), Casey Jacobs (Aaron), Jeremy Houghtlen (Marci), Aaron Ohlemacher (Samantha) and Matthew Ohlemacher (Devon); and her siblings, Fred Reer, Janis Russ and Deb Bell (John). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
