He was predeceased by: his mother Glennie Bogart (Peacock); his daughter Tabitha Bogart; and his brothers, Bobby and Richard Bogart. He is survived by: his father James Sr. Bogart (Connie); his wife Lorrie Bogart (Norris) of Crestline; his brother James Jr. "Jimmy" Bogart; his close friend Jackie Davidson; and his pet Midnight. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
