With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Pleasant (Crestline, Ohio), born in Powhatan, West Virginia, who passed away on December 15, 2019 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her grandmother Blanche Wade; her mother Avis Smith; and her sister Irma Mathews. She is survived by: her children, Zina Scott (Columbus Ohio), Alisa Scott and Pernell Pleasant (Columbus Ohio); and her siblings, Marva Ann Ransome (Washington D. C.), Charles Smith, Larry Craighead (Columbus Ohio) and Ronnie Craighead. She is also survived by two grandchildren; four great grandchildren; a great-great grandchild; and a host of nieces and nephews.
