He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Phillip "Bea" Karns and Ona Imboden Karns; his wife Elizabeth Ann Karns; his children, Steve Karns and Regina Barger; and his sister Sue Stafford.
He is survived by: his daughters, Anna Scarberry (Russell) of Creola and Kayla Peck (Ryan) of Wellston; his sister Ronna Karns of Creola; and his grandchildren, Matthew Barger (Elizabeth), James Scarberry, Brittany Scarberry, Paytin Peck and Haydon Peck. He is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
