With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Roger W. Colby of Covington, Ohio, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. As Roger departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Roger may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Roger leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Colby and Mary Colby (Campling). He is survived by: his wife Norma Karnehm Colby; his daughter Jennifer Colby Schoonover of Ft. Recovery; his granddaughter Taylor Renae Schoonover of Ft. Recovery; his brother Steve; and his sister-in-law Sarah Green Colby of Covington.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. John's Lutheran Church (200 E Bridge St, Covington, OH 45318). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to Ohio's Hospice of Miami County.
