The passing of Gloria Jean Traylor of Covington, Ohio leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on February 26, 2025 at the age of 77. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rufus E. "Mac" McGuffin and Helen E. McGuffin; her husband Robert "Bob" Traylor Jr.; and her siblings, Joseph McGuffin, Pamela Vance and Patricia Thress.
She is survived by: her children, Shane Traylor (Deena) and Carrie Cron (Rob); her grandchildren, Haley Adams, Drew Traylor, Kelsey Traylor and Autumn Reboulet; her siblings, Angel Fox (John), Elaine Harrington (Bill) and Miles McGuffin (Kathy); and her pet Gypsy. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (4104 Needmore Rd, Dayton, OH 45424). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:15 AM at the Dayton National Cemetery (4400 W Third St, Dayton, OH 45428).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Gooch's memory to The American Cancer Society.
