He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur A. Cassel and Bertha F. Cassel Parker (Wion); his stepfather Merlin Parker; his daughter Niki Cassel; his siblings, Dale Dunevant, Harley "Buck", Bill, Ron Cassel and Patricia Holler; and his father-in-law Richard Frowine.
He is survived by: his wife Pamela Cassel (Frowine); his children, Eric Cassel (Tammy Hittle) of Greenville, Brian Cassel (Becky) of Xenia and Kayla Cassel (Levi Maiden) of Covington; his siblings, Jim Cassel (Rona M.) of New Brockton, Ala. and Carolyn Lee (Pastor Sam) of Troy; his grandchildren, Shay Morton, Dallas (Emily), Daniel (Shelby), Dylan, Marissa (Riley), Macy, Kellen Cassel, William and Nathan Hittle; his mother-in-law Clotine Frowine of Alabaster, Ala.; and his siblings-in-law, Steve Frowine (Cheryl) of Helena, Ala. and Brenda Burnside of Troy. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and many great friends.
