He was predeceased by: his wife Phyllis Ann Thompson; and his brother James Lee Thompson. He is survived by: his children, Annie (Chris Shilt), John William Thompson (Carrie McKibben) of Covington and Jennifer Johnson (Sean Fisher) of Covington; his grandchildren, Zach (Kelsey Shilt) of Troy, Jessica (George Matthys) of Centerville, Gage Weyant of Alger, Dalton Sherard of Celina and Emalyn Johnson of Covington; his great grandchildren, Quinn and Miles Shilt; his sister Janet; his brother-in-law Ben McRoy of Middletown; and his close friend Pauline Sage of Piqua. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bridges-Stocker-Fraley Funeral Home (160 N High St, Covington, OH 45318). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
