He was predeceased by: his father Shelby Tomes; and his sister Jean DeVore. He is survived by: his wife Becky Tomes; his children, Matthew Tomes, Danielle Tomes (Dave Smith) and Michelle Cox (Jesse); his grandchildren, Blaine, Brett, Brianna Cox, Kelsey Kent and Emma Tomes; and his siblings, Larry Tomes (Linda) and Bethel Totman (Ronnie). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
