She was predeceased by: her parent John Smailes; her daughter Cassidy Smailes; and her aunt Jean Smailes. She is survived by: her husband Robert Shearn; her daughters, Carrie Shearn of Coshocton and Catie Hatfield (Michael) of West Lafayette; and her grandchildren, Dominik, Emily and Holden.
