He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert R. West Sr. and Loretta Shear (Grace); and his stepfather Don Shear. He is survived by: his wife LuAnna "LuLu" West (Hutto); his children, Robert W. West, Kaylee Rehard (Johnny) and Allan Pratt; his grandchildren, Cyanna West, Reese Huse and Maverick Rehard; and his brother George Sheely (Geraldine).

Memorial contributions can be directed towards the Miller Funeral Home to help defray funeral expenses.
