He was predeceased by: his parents, Foster O. Rice and Leola Rice (Stewart); and his sister Mary Jean Hawk. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl E. Rice (Baker); his children, Joseph F. Rice of Coshocton and Tina Sipe (Ian) of Lakeville, Ohio; his grandchildren, Garrett Rice, Addison Rice, Kailee Rice, Brie Bischoff and JT Bischoff; his niece Teresa Boals; and his nephew Jeff Hawk (Brandi).
