He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Scheetz and Lena Scheetz (Miller); and his siblings, Frederick Scheetz, Ruth Shank and Donna Scheetz.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Scheetz (Parks); his children, Lisa Sargel (Scot) of Westerville, Scott Kestler of Cooperdale and Renee Prince (David) of Coshocton; his grandchildren, Ashley Kestler, Hannah Sargel, Karley Abel, Miranda Sargel, Katy Sargel and Kelsey Abel; and his siblings, Shirley Moore (Thomas) and Jimmy Scheetz (Lisa). He is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren.
