He was predeceased by: his father John Hughes; his close friend Tammy Owens; and his brother-in-law Kevin Jones. He is survived by: his sons, Cody Hughes (Nicholas) of Cleveland and Justin Hughes (Chasity) of Newcomerstown; his grandchildren, Mika and Leah Hughes; his siblings, Jayne Jones, Julie Carr (Greg) and John Hughes; his stepdaughter Bambi Owens; and his caregiver Bobbi Porter. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
