He was predeceased by: his parents, George H. Torman, Sr. and Beatrice Wilbur Torman; his siblings, Frances Gies and William Torman; and his brother-in-law Donald Jones.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Kent Torman; his children, Georgeanne Hammond (Tom) of Warsaw, OH and Steve Torman of Cottageville, WV; his brother Donald Torman (Union); his grandchildren, Stephen Hammond of Milwaukee, WI, Rachel Hammond of Singapore and Jason Hammond (Montanna) of Coshocton; and his sister-in-law Martha Kent Jones.
At Primrose, George, with several other gentlemen, built 8 doll houses that were donated to various charities in the Zanesville area.
