He was predeceased by: his parents, George McElhaney and Merle McElhaney (Ely); his wife Charlotte McElhaney (Shelton); and his son Ronald A. McElhaney. He is survived by: his children, Kenneth of Coshocton, Duane McElhaney (Carol) of Coshocton and Evelyn McElhaney of Columbus; and his grandsons, Dustin (Jessica), Joshua (Abby) and Brian McElhaney (Katie).
