With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Charles Leigh (Coshocton, Ohio), born in Danville, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 5, 2025 at the age of 78. He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Leigh and Lucille Leigh (Timberlake); his sister Patricia Maddox; his stepsons, Mike, Tom and Bob Priest; and his sister-in-law Lore Leigh.
He is survived by: his wife Alletta Leigh; his children, Todd Leigh (Tammy) and Teres Smith (Jamie); his stepsons, Jim Priest (Karen) and Tim Priest; his grandchildren, J. T. Smith (Baylee Banek), Nicloe Hardesty, Chase Hayes, Samantha Daugherty (Kyle), Kyle Priest (Kayla) and Matthew Priest (Lori); his great grandchildren, Jayce, Treytyn Corder, Mackenzie, Scottie Daugherty, Caleb and Damian Priest; his siblings, James "Jim" Leigh of Coshocton and Ruth Bush (Dave) of Coshocton; his pet Tuffey; and also Sara Priest.
