He was predeceased by: his parents, C. Glenn Baumer and Dorothy Baumer (Nicholas); his spouse Shirley J. Baumer (Geltz); his daughter Mary Margaret Elvin (Baumer); his daughter-in-law Carla Baumer; his grandson Chad Baumer; and his siblings, Glenda Rittenour and John Albert Baumer.
He is survived by: his children, Chuck Baumer (Connie) of Coshocton, Beth Cormack (Wayne) of Coshocton, Jeff Baumer (Anita) of Marietta, OH and Greg Baumer (Sharon) of Newark, OH; his son-in-law Matt Elvin Sr. of Uhrichsville; his grandchildren, Matthew, Mark, Michael Elvin, Cara Renner, Crista Berry, Roger Grantham, Michael Cormack, Candace Cormack, Rachel Dillon, Kelly Thomspon, Lisa Baumer and Nick Baumer; and his sisters, Doris Bichsel (Dick) and Portia Metzger (Ken).
In lieu of floral tributes, memorial contributions can be made to Victory Baptist Church or Community Hospice.
