He is survived by: his wife Bette Banks (Sims); his children, James Banks (Jodi), Cassandra Banks, Stacey Jordan (Scott) and Carla Jean Mustard; and his sister Charlotte Banks. He is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
