He was predeceased by: his parents, Calvin "Wimpy" D. Thompson and Maxine J. Thompson (Kenney); and his siblings, Phyllis Gregory, Cathy D'Vengencie and Kenneth L. Kistler.
He is survived by: his wife Bobbi Thompson; his children, Tonya Dasch of Oklahoma, Jeanette Willoughby (Jay) of Ohio, Roxanne Phillips of Oklahoma, Leana Knight (Larry) of Ohio, Keith Thompson (Yulonda) of Ohio and LeAnn Thompson of Ohio; and his stepson Steven Cravalho (Molly) of Ohio. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Lane Family Funeral Homes - Roberts-Clark Chapel (180 Garfield Dr NE, Warren, OH 44483). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at the Crown Hill Burial Park (3966 Warren - Sharon Rd, Vienna, OH 44473).
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Hope Center of Warren.
