He is survived by: his wife Sandra L. Whitacre of Cortland, OH; his daughters, Chris Recklies of Cortland, OH, Stephanie Profera and Josh Eledge of Spartanburg, SC; and his brothers, Robert Whitacre of Warren, OH and William Whitacre of Germany. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren.
